Manlius real estate. Manlius, NY is a town in Onondaga County, New York, United States. The population was 31,872 at the 2000 census.  The Town of Manlius is east of Syracuse and is on the east border of Onondaga County. The town is an eastern suburb of Syracuse. In 2005, it was #98 on CNN Money's list of Best Places to Live.

Fayetteville and Manlius is also the name of the school district nicknamed locally as FM (Fayetteville/Manlius). The FM area doesn't have the easy access to highways that most other suburban towns around Syracuse have. The FM area has plenty of rolling hills with views. The FM school district is rated one of the best in Upstate NY. Growth in Manlius is much slower than in the northern suburban towns of Cicero, Clay and Lysander. This area does have a Webmans which is soon to become the largest Wegmans store in the Country with yet another expansion.
