Please read this if you are unable to attend a class that you have registered for.
Free Event or Class:
A $15 fee will be applied to all Members who fail to cancel 48 hours prior
to the start of a FREE event or class, for which they have registered. Cancellations will be accepted in writing only - e-mailed to dawson@cnyrealtor.com. Once received, you will be sent a confirmation of that e-mail.
Continuing Education or Designation Course:
If a request for a refund is received in writing 10 days prior to the course, a
full refund will be granted. If a written request is received within 10 days, a
refund less a $25 processing fee will be granted. No refunds will be granted
after the start of the course. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Refunds:
To receive a refund for a course we MUST receive a request in writing at least 10 days prior to the course and a full refund will be granted. Afterwards, a $25 processing fee will be assessed. NO REFUNDS are granted after the start of the course. No exceptions.
Cancellations:
GSAR reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient enrollment.
Emergency Weather Cancellations:
In the case of severe weather, the decision to hold class or cancel will be made the day of class — do not call in advance. On the day of class, please call our main number (315) 457-5979.
No Shows:
Any student who fails to show up for a course without notifying the GSAR education staff 48 hours prior to the class forfeits any right to a refund. GSAR reserves the right to charge a $15 no show SHOW fee for any free class or New Member Orientation.
Reserving a seat for a class and then attending prevents other students from participating. No exceptions. Thanks for your cooperation.
