Committee Goals

GSAR Committee Goals 2007

The Strategic Planning Committee has gone through the Strategic Plan, and assigned duties and goals to each of the committees, to work on in addition to their current projects. If a certain Committee is not on this list, there are no additions to their agendas at this time. All committees should keep in mind the 2007 Visioning Goals, and continue to think of ways to achieve these goals.

Equal Opportunity Committee

Diversify membership – continue scholarship, organize events in the community in the area of equal opportunity and affordable housing.Work on improving relationship with Home Headquarters

Legislative Committee

Eminent Domain and Smart Growth projects – see if there is an opportunity to participate in a projecct. Continue to be a resource for the membership on this topic. Bring to membership information from local townships, by attending local meetings.

Education Task Force

Educate members about Code of Ethics – get information out to membership and the public.Look at new and diverse offerings for 2008Online courses

Hat’s Off

Continue in planning the Annual Hat’s Off to You, Associate’s Day.

Executive Committee

Create relationship with S.U. Strengthen relationship with the Mayor, set up quarterly meetings.

Bylaws Committee

Add in the Bylaws: How to set up a task force, remove our Education Committee and change to task force, to meet on an “as needed” basis. Review other Association’s bylaws, review ours and see how ours rates.

Staff

Total Recall Relationship with S.U.

Website Task Force

Link to all local townships, so members can see what is going on around us.  They can have access to planning board agendas, etc.

RPAC Committee

Keep the light on this issue, try to encourage RPAC donations.The Realtors that are participating in the Realtor Awarenss tour should be informed about this issue, and prepared to talk about it. 

Marketing Task Force

Work on improving public perception.Continue to plan the Marketing Campaign for 2007.
