Have you fulfilled your Ethics Requirement?

Between January 1, 2005 and December 31, 2008, every REALTOR® is required to complete a minimum of 2 1/2 hours of Code of Ethics training. REALTORS® who have completed this training as a requirement of membership in another association are not required to complete additional ethics training until the next four year cycle. GSAR offers classroom ethics training throught the year.

Free Open House Exposure!

Two major events in May GSAR is sponsoring to bring exposure to Member's open houses. The first is Syracuse City Living: A Homes & Neighborhood Expo, which will take place noon to 3 p.m. May 3 at Lincoln Middle School, on James Street. This free annual event,  provides exhibits and workshops on all aspects of home buying, along with same-day open houses in city neighborhoods.

As you may know, GSAR and CNYIS give me the opportunity to frequent a number of seminars and meetings throughout the year. During the last NYSAR meetings in Albany I was fortunate enough to sit in on the Communications Committee meeting were they discussed blogs, widgets and other cool marketing tools that REALTORS are now using to grow their business.
