Adding an Open House

Adding your open house to MLXchange is easy, free and takes 30 seconds!  

The MLXchange Listing Maintenance module makes it easy to schedule upcoming open houses. Once added, other agents can search for and see the details of your openhouse(s), plus, thousands of consumers can view your open house posting! 

You can post your open house at anytime and it will stay searchable until the date passes! This allows consumers to plan days, even weeks, ahead of time before coming to your open house.

 To add an open house to a listing in the MLS database:  

1. In MLXchange, click on Tools in the top bar.
2. Click on Listing Manager.
3. Click on Listing Maintenance.
4. Enter in the MLS number in “Find Listing by ML#” box. Hit “enter” or the green arrow button to the right.
5. Click on Open houses on left.
6. Click the Add an Open house button.  The Add New Open House page opens, with the related fields highlighted.
7. Enter the Open House Type (only Public Open houses will go to www.cnyrealtor.com), date and time.  You can even indicate whether there will be refreshments served, add remarks and directions.
8. Click submit.

NOTE! If you schedule an open house which you later have to cancel, you can edit the open house record and change the Status to Canceled.
