NYSAR President Daniel J. Hartnett recently sat down with John Jordan, editor of Real Estate In-Depth and Greater Hudson Valley Real Estate Quarterly, to discuss the success of Lobby Day 2009 and why such events are important to the livelihood of real estate professionals.
In the podcast, Hartnett discusses real property taxes and the fact that New Yorkers pay some of the highest taxes in the nation. "We need to support reform that would include shared services, government consolidation and put a tax cap on school property taxes," said Hartnett.
Also in the podcast Hartnett discusses the three things all members can do right now to help support and advance the REALTOR legislative agenda.
