2007 Profile of New York Home Buyers and Sellers

The environment in which consumers have been buying and selling homes has undergone a significant transition during the past two years. The newly released 2007 Profile of New York Home Buyers and Sellers report provides information to help us better understand the housing market and how the unique role of real estate professionals continues to be important as the housing market evolves.

The findings also provide New York REALTORS with insights into the characteristics, needs and expectations of their clients to help REALTORS improve client service and more effectively meet the demands of consumers. All of the information in this report is characteristic of a 12-month period ending June 2007 with the exception of income data, which was reported for 2006.
