Money, CNN. May 7, 2008 - Yes, even amid the housing crisis, parts of the U.S. are still expected to post price gains in the coming year, according to Money Magazine. Syracuse was named 4th in the County  to see the greatest price gains this year by CNN - Money Magazine. This May Syracuse is expected to see a 2.6% increase in value from 2007 - there are only three other Cities in the Country expected to do better.

Change in foreclosure rate: 27%

Syracuse, NY is amongst nine other fastest growing cities that include - McAllen Texas, Rochester NY, Birmingham Alabama, Buffalo NY, New Orleans, Sranton PA, Grand Rapids Michigan, Baton Rouge Louisana, and El Paso Texas.
