 CANCELLATIONS: Requests for cancellation must be received in writing NO LATER THAN 72 HOURS PRIOR to the class to avoid a $25 penalty. REFUNDS: If a written cancellation request is received less than 72 hours prior, a refund less a $25 processing fee will be granted. No refunds will be granted after the start of the course. Mandatory Ethics and Local Association Training with Don Radke

Jan 5, 9:00am - 1:00pm   4 HRS CE  $20 for GSAR members/$60 for Non-Members.

Your instructor will review several Articles of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics and corresponding Standards of Practice.  An hour of Agency training is included.    ALL NAR MEMBERS MUST COMPLETE AT LEAST 2.5 HRS OF ETHICS TRAINING BETWEEN JAN. 1ST, 2009 and  DECEMBER 31ST, 2012. This course satisfies that requirement. 

From Purchase Offer to Closing: A Legal Perspective with Robert Carter

March 15, 9:00 am - 12:00pm  3.0 hours.   $36 for GSAR Members / $45 for Non-Members.     The IRC §1031 tax-deferred exchange provides owners of investment property one of the last great ways to build wealth and save on taxes, yet it remains one of the most underutilized provisions of the tax code.  Walk away with an understanding of how your new knowledge can be used to generate good will, mine leads and increase commissions. 

Environmental Home Inspections for REALTORS® with Steve Selig 

March 27,  9:00am - 5:30pm   7.5 hours.  $90 for GSAR Members / $113 for Non-Members.    This course covers the role environmental issues play in the purchase and sale of homes.  Focus will be on the types of inspections that are available & any governmental regulations or guidelines for these inspections. You will also learn strategies for identifying the need for them early and communicating them with the purchasers and sellers.  This course will discuss the public milieu in which environmental issues develop.
