A GREAT Turnout at This Year's Community Day
Community Day for 2019 was held yesterday at Bella Domani with over 110 members in attendance. There were 4 guest speakers: Onondaga County Executive, Ryan McMahon spoke on the many projects the county is undertaking, Mark Re, OCC Board Members and Advantage Program Chairman, spoke briefly about the Advantage Program before turning it over to Amy Kremenek, Vice President, Enrollment Development & Communications at OCC, that spoke on the different local high schools participating in the Advantage Program and how it is helping families in the area. Jay Tinklepaugh, Superintendent, Solvay Union Free School District, spoke specifically on his district and shared a couple of stories of his students taking part and the difference it is making in their lives.
